I’ve always had a soft spot for T-Rich, especially since I’m a lifelong Bama fan. But.... he was definitely not a good pro. However, I will definitely be rooting for him and would like to see him succeed.

My hopes aren’t high. But we shall see. It would be nice to see him get another chance at the pro level, even if it were as a backup or third-down back.

I would give him a shot at league minimum in Chicago. Better than Cunningham, but still Howard/Cohan 1-2

Yeah, as long as he is willing to come back as the 3rd RB on a team, I am sure he could get another chance. He was drafted as high as he was for a reason. He had talent

As long as it’s not on the Raiders again I’d like to see him get his final chance too.

I just can’t get over the videos of when he picks the wrong hole and you could fit a truck through the gap he decided not to take lol

Maybe he and Eddie "Pork Chop" Lacy can train together!:)! On a serious note, I would like to see both of them resurrect their careers!!

Benny Cunningham is on the team to block and make plays on special teams. The Bears have their 1 & 2, they are so rich on runners that they could show Kadeem Carey and Jeremy Langford, both decent players, the door.

The last place T-Rich would want to play is in Chicago. Too hard to crack any carries.

Also, lets not get too carried away here. In 4 games, here are his stats

Game 1 5 carries for 20 yards, 4 per rush zero TD's
Game 2 14 carries for 60 yards, 4.3 per rush zero TD's
Game 3 9 carries for 52 yards, 5.8 per rush zero TD's
Game 4 20 carries for 127 yards, 6.4 and a pair of TD's

He is not exactly setting the city of Saskatchewan on fire, even with the lackluster talent he is facing. Do you know how many ex-NFL players, that were cut, still "want another shot"? Every one of them I'd imagine.

Trent had another shot in Indy. Didn't work out to well. 3rd shot was in Oakland. Nope. Fourth shot was in Baltimore. No good. Cant see a 5th NFL team kicking his tires due to some OK stats in the CFL.

Remember, CFL fields are 10 yards longer and 12 yards wider. So it is much easier to get yards or run around someone.

LOL, fields being wider was exactly what I was going to post. As for those stats... that's about 6 quarters worth of NFL work. Don't think he'll be able to fool another NFL team into signing him outside of a practice squad.

I don't know, his stats suggest he is showing improvement game to game. Keep in mind that he may be facing lower-end talent, but lower-end talent is also blocking for him. He's not running around anyone with his speed :)

I totally agree, people shouldn't get carried away. I think he gets an invite to a camp and makes a 53-man roster next year. Once he get's paid though, I think he regresses.

He can get the minimum with incentives. That may help

Lol oh geez

1. Saskatchewan is a province not a city lol the city they play in is Regina but the team is representative of the entire province. The fan base is a little nutty actually.

2. Yes the field is 12 yards wider but 12 players in the field instead of 11 and they don't call as much of the physical stuff.

3. That being said he def didn't light it up. He played well the one game I watched but i figured he was another season away before the NFL was a reality again. Hell Kenton Keith dominated and barely go any burn with the colts (mind you he was rumoured to be a little hands on with the other colts players wives lol)

Top kek.

Why hasn't this guy just went the porn route, instead? Probably a lot more enjoyable and safer for him, and from what I hear the cameraman won't even require the use of a tripod.

He will average 70 years per game if he goes to the patriots...

leave it to Bleacher Report to fluff up their articles with "Dominating the CFL" when in fact, he's not.

I do hope he gets another shot at the NFL, always liked him.

Colts fan here. He had so much opportunity in Indy, even while playing badly. Seeing him start for the Colts as long as he did makes me positive he would never contribute much to an NFL roster. And those numbers for a Canadian football team aren’t even great.

The Bleacher Report is terrible. Its usually 3 or 4 reports daily about Kaepernick. I believe he has a man crush on him.
