Where to put shipping label when mailing a tube

Dose it make any difference on where to put the shipping label? It's a 3" shipping tube if that makes any difference.

Yes, picture #2 is the way to go. I work at FedEx as an operations manager, and I used to be a package handler. So I've scanned hundreds of thousands of bar codes. #2 is the way to go, every time.
