A 19-year-old woman has accused Kareem Hunt of "shoving and pushing" her in downtown Cleveland over the weekend.

The alleged incident occurred at 3:45 AM on Saturday morning. No charges have been filed yet. Another woman who was with Hunt and his friends at the time claims 19-year-old Abigail Ottinger assaulted her, instigating the melee. One police report lists Hunt as a suspect, and another police report lists Ottinger as the suspect, meaning there is a "cross complaint." The group was reportedly together on a party bus in downtown Cleveland. Hunt's friend told police they kicked girls out of his apartment when they learned they were only 19. Hunt's friend also said Ottinger called them "racial slurs" when told to leave.

My condolences to Chiefs fans. Rule of law is dead. Accusations carry the weight of a jury verdict.

Goodell will now ban him from the league for life.

I wish we could let the actual situation play through before we judge. this one just seems like they were trying to kick these chicks out of their party when they found out they were underage. the foster thing....doesn't look explainable though, and he is a prior offender. I am sure goodell will suspend him for 6 games regardless.

I just heard about this more this AM.

Now days it is innocent until proven guilty. Why athletes continue to put themselves in negative situations is beyond me. This chick seemed to be pissed they were being kicked out of the party and then Kareem tried to "escort her out"...but it may have been more than an escort.

It will definitely be a he said, she said........

I guess in Cleveland, shoving and pushing unwanted people out of their home is considered abuse. In Texas, she could have been shot :/

For real, I am sure there is much more to this story.

I hope there is more to the story, as some of you are quite over reacting it seems. At this moment however, I am not sure how Hunt didn't do the correct thing, in removing the teenage girls from the player and his friends. More so, it sounds like Hunt's girl and one of the other girls were fighting. Not sure any other move Hunt should have made other then remove the girls, as he couldn't really remove himself/party...and leave the girls in his hotel room. If he was very physically in removing him, then thats different....but that does not appear to be the case, as nothing on the police reports seem to suggest such.
