USPS Still Causing Problems!?

Has anyone else seen problems out of the USPS and their tracking lately, or has it gotten any better in the last couple weeks? Made a sell on eBay last week, and tracking says it was delivered, but buyer claiming it's not there. I know USPS had been a problem with this recently, but wasn't sure if anyone else was still seeing this as an issue.

I've been a buyer in a couple instances where the card said delivered, and it didn't show up until a day or 2 later. Tell me I'm not alone here lol

Might be different per post office. I have received 100+ card packages in last few months, all accurate. Granted I am new to collecting again where I started a few months ago.

Been very slow. I've got the 'delayed' message for incoming and outgoing packages multiple time in the past month.

Yeah, I've had some say delivered and not show up for a day or 2 later. And I've also had one in limbo at a post office or in transit for a week+ more recently, so I wasn't sure if anyone else has been noticing any other similar patterns.

Buyer just messaged me back saying that it actually did delivered today. I guess you are now free to use this thread as evidence in case it happens to someone else going forward. And I guess add it to the list of potentially ongoing USPS issues.

I've had multiple items go three to four days without updated tracking. Very frustrating.

I️ am in Michigan, so maybe this is bias but I️ was under the impression things got screwed up with the storm that came through. We got hammered and friday(when the storm was worst here) was when I️ started having issues. As of this afternoon everything is caught up for me. Said “out for delivery” since Friday. I️ was getting nervous though

yep, Usps is still causing some problems, had a card say it was delivered on the 9th, showed up on the 12th. Was tracked perfectly, including out for delivery then, delivered. Tracking kept updating however the next day so it wasn't super worrisome once it was tracked as picked up.

Usps will never get it together... received a card a day early which is great but not for the seller considering a bubble mailer with shipping label was not scanned from Oklahoma to Virginia only popped up as scanned at arrival at OKLA post office...never seen this happen before

For high end cards I would ship registered mail. The additional cost is worth it.

Yeah I sold an item on ebay and sent it out on 02/01 and somehow it got delayed and didn't get there until 02/13. No explanation when I talked to usps just said it was going to be delayed and that is it. At least the guy receiving the package was very understanding and I kept in touch with him to make sure he got the card.

With the delays I think buyers have no other choice but to be understanding as the issue is with the delivery system rather than the seller themselves. Hard to fault a seller when they ship next day and the item is delayed.
