Don't get me wrong...this is a great, GREAT story and a GREAT thing that Mark did.

But I can't help but feel that this "feel-good" story was only thrown out there to combat all the negativity that the Jets have put on themselves this season.

Unfortunately we don't hear enough about the things like this that all pro athletes do. There are lots of good people in pro sports but all that gets publicized is texting pictures of your junk to women and worshipping feet. Good job Sanchez!

It struck me that this was much more than a "feel good" story. I will give credit where it is due and Sanchez did this on his own, to keep his word and stay in contact with this kid is a true testiment to his character. I am sure the Jets Organization had other intentions when this was made public, but I truly believe Sanchez was sincere in all his actions! I'm sorry in advance that such a nice deed will go unpaid this weekend for Sanchez and his Jets ;)
