I don't typically collect football but ran across this in a small collection I recently purchased? I have not been able to track down any values for it. Any information/value would be appreciated.

1 sale on COMC at 6.80. Seems like a $10 card or thereabout.

I really think that's an underrated set, too. I rather dig my Edgerrin from that set, and the Encore version.

Cool card, but ya they don't seem to sell for much... Here's one of mine I got from COMC(cost was $2.65):

Easily was a $200+ card back in 1999. Seems around $10 now, but with it being graded MINT, i could see a bit of a premium. Maybe $15-$20.

Personally this is the kind of card i wouldn't list at auction. It may sell for $5. Throw in your ebay store at $49.99 or best offer and let it sit there for a few months/ a year before you just auction it for peanuts.

Someone may actually really like it/ want it and you could get offered $25-$35 for it.

Agreed

The sad thing is that Edgerrin James had a borderline HOF career and his top rookies are worth a pittance.

All the better for me to buy up what I still need! I think he’ll eventually land in Canton, too.

I paid $8.28 for my Torry Holt. Excellent set.

Edit: actually mine is the Encore FX but still the exclusives are nice.

It's practically a 1/1 ;)

I would regrade it. That year of UD was horrible with condition out the pack. Might end up with some major love in the future in a psa holder

Its a market value $5-$10 raw card, as someone pointed out one sold for around $8. Its already graded SGC 96 mint and i absolutely doubt it will grade PSA 10 if the owner cracks it out.

If anything its probably a PSA 8.5 or maybe even PSA 8.

And depending on level of service, not even considering shipping charges to and from PSA... i mean... whats the point? Its a $5-$10 raw card. You're going to easily pay $15-$30 just for psa to grade it unless you stick it in a bulk 30-45 day order and thats maybe $8-$10. Again, plus shipping cost there and back even if you're sending with other cards to submit.

Very high risk/ very low reward/ most likely a definite $$ loss.

Don't believe everything you read without doing your own fact checking.

SGC was always tougher than PSA. And a PSA 9 in that set is a much better investment. It would be a low pop RC of a potential HOFer and popular player from a popular college.

That sale for $6.80 was over 4 years ago. Other true rc parallels /100 are getting $20+. With the upward trend in Edge cards, it would behoove one to take the longer grading cycle, have come in, and the card could easily be worth $50 or more. And who knows? with such a low pop on an easily damaged set, it could bring double that.

That's an excellent regrade. Did you crack it out to resub, or did you use the crossover service?

Congrats. I LOVE exclusives. I have a raw James, and I think it is a very underrated card. James, IMO, is eventually getting in the Hall. He was undoubtedly the best RB in the league for 4-5 years.

i have cracked some bgs 8.5/9 stuff lately that seemed like it was graded pretty hard, a few scg as well....... all came back better from psa........ so good call on this one; i wonder why the guy that said it would come back an 8.5 or an 8 hasn't come back here yet :D

and for the original post.... hof or not, this card will be desired by someone eventually but the range could be really wide... i would say 50-150

I think I see Champ Bailey watching him at the rookie photo shoot on the bottom of that James card.

Man, I never noticed that! I've owned that card for years and didn't catch Champ at the bottom.
