I think both are nice sets, although...especially for HOF autos, I'd tend to lean a little more toward Tribute as I just think they're nicer looking cards and better designed overall than Museum. I have both in my collection though and either one would be good.

I think most think too expensive, especially with all the new high-end releases over the past few years. Now you have Museum, Tribute, Dynasty, Luminaries, The Mint (gross), Five Star, Definitive, Transcendent, etc.
Also, Tribute design and quality control has been all over the place recently and Museum has a ton of sticker autos.

I think Tribute is a beautiful product but for breaking it's too expensive and non prospect/rookie cards just don't get much play on Blowout.
Topps puts out approximately two million products just like Museum Collection so I'm not a huge fan.

I love both, but only buy the ones I need for my PC from both sets. The earlier tributes are my favorites over Museum, but the last two years or so Museum has seemed to step up and be a lot closer in quality. IMO

Museum is getting stale. They need to change the format.

I've never been a fan of Tribute other than Tribute WBC. I love the design of the Museum Collection relic autos other than the fact that they are sticker autos. There's no excuse for stickers in such an expensive product. I also loved the design of the regular autographed cards in 2012 and 2013 but don't really like the horizontal design of recent years.
Do I think they're too artistic? Not at all; they're way better than other products that look like they were made by a high school kid who just learned to use Photoshop. Do I think they're to expensive? Absolutely. Way too many autos of guys whose autos aren't worth much.
As for long-term value I don't think there will be much. Autos of rookies should do fairly well but still behind things like Topps Chrome and Heritage.

It's amazing how far Triple Threads has fallen. Used to be a huge product, now it's not even mentioned in general discussions.
I say retire them all.

Hate tribute , museum is better in my opinion . Better ROI and better looking Cards for your pc . Tribute is just shiny that’s it

I love both products, when they are done right. Tribute has lacked in the patch auto department, and museum patch auto's tend to be stickers so usually go the Five Star or Tier One for those cards.

I guess I never thought of Triple Threads as “high end” because of all the sticker autos. My bad!

In my estimation, Tribute has always been the go to for HOF/legend players. It's become way too much like everything else with the current stars and rookies seeded in there. It's not as special as the price tag indicates.
