I'd do 7 years 80 mil. He's likely worth a lot more in the open market and will generate a ton of revenue this year alone.
Red Sox signed a one dimensional hitter, Rusney Castillo, to a seven-year, $72.5 million deal a while back and Acuna is miles ahead of him.

1 Billion sounds about right since he's a sure fire Hall of Famer and definitely the next Trout or maybe even better.

The Red Sox have admitted to their huge mistake after he only played a handful of professional games, he may get a second chance this year but then there are luxury taxes involved so I don't think even that will happen. I don't know why anyone would ever compare one of the worst contracts in MLB history to signing another potential superstar (or bust).

What’s the absolute most he could make in his arbitration years? $70 million? I’d probably do $45 million if he gives a couple option years at $15 million each.
I’m a huge believer in him though.
