Does reporting a buyer on Ebay actually do anything?
If a buyer has violated multiple rules, do you think I should report for each item, or just report once and list all the infractions in the description?

Calling them can be more effective, but if it is for unpaid items, eBay will just let them keep going.

It was for a paid item. They wanted to keep the product and receive a full refund. I told them I'd give a refund if they returned it. They then threatened negative feedback and used inappropriate language.

Call eBay, the forms will just get you a we will look into it. Call them and then call them again that is easy for them to protect you if you document it early.

THey will not do anything until they actually leave feedback. THat is what I have been told everytime I have had a buyer use feedback extortion. The other stuff like words they don't care. Had a buyer threaten to kill me once and Ebay did nothing.

they cant threaten bad feedback as extortion to get what they want. its against ebay rules and they will (should) remove it.

Just got off the phone with ebay. They are removing the negative feedback. Pretty surprised at how easy it was to get to someone to get it taken care of.

Did they acually remove it or just tell you they would

Amazon is same way. Except sellers cannot leave any feedback. With ebay you need to call and need to have all using the form is useless

eBay is amazing with this. They've done it twice for me already in very similar situations. They check messages, report back that the buyer was in error, and immediately remove the feedback and note their account. Even suspended one of them.

Yes, it was gone about 20 minutes after I called them.

When i looked op still had one. Ebay is very good at telling you something will be done to get you off the phone then it never happened. I never hang up until it is done.
