Not surprising, especially during his Percocet alcohol period.

Thousands in his career? Dude played in 302 games. Even if we take the lowest plural of thousand, two, that would mean he was concussed 6.62 times per game?

He was sacked 525 times over the years. That would mean a concussion on every single sack plus 3 more per game on his way to and from the bench or on a scramble past the pocket.

I'm not making light of it. I just don't see how it adds up. He was always 100% hands off in practice.

His football career started much earlier than entering the NFL tho.

Favre is also very good at over exaggerating things. He gave me a couple hundred concussions as well every time he threw an interception. Still love the guy though, he was exciting to watch.

Got to be careful when you  after your favorite team's QB throws an int.

Even if you give him all the games in High School and College, we are only talking dozens more and the math would just stretch out to like 5 per game... And that includes these new games against teenagers.

He's just trying to be real-life version of Billy Bob

Favre was a absolutely beast!!! I think favres Ironman record is way more impressive then cal Ripken’s. Unfortunately with all those concussions he’ll be more like Lou Gehrig.

We had full pad practice starting in 6th grade so I'm sure he got some there. I also heard he sleeps in a bunk bed so I'd guess he starts the day concussed

I'm sure Favre had quite a few concussions in his day.

This CTE madness is real, its sad, and at some point in the future will affect this game we love.

The NFL is too huge for it to ever go away, but i think it will continue to get safer, the rules will continue to change so players are more well protected/ it will get less brutal, i think players will have much shorter careers so as to protect themselves and for the sake of their families, and thats probably just the beginning.

I don't think he was being literal. He was saying he's been concussed a whole bunch, which I'm sure he was.

More great news for the NFL

I dont believe that this is accurate.

He wouldnt know his name, and would have to strap a cup to his chin to catch the drool if that number was accurate.

During last seasons superbowl festivities when they had him sit with analysts, he was funny, and articulate and well spoken.
No way his brain is mush.
