I recently maxed out my eBay bucks for Q2 here and it's only April 20th. I was curious to know if anyone with multiple eBay accounts can shed some light on their eBay bucks policy. Do all of your accounts receive eBay bucks / is it limited to $500 per household?

Appreciate any help I can get here. I only have one account and am considering opening up account #2 to buy after I've maxed out my bucks in the first one.

I have two accounts and do get ebay bucks offers on both, but not always the same offer on both accounts. One is much smaller in terms of my spend/sell, so it doesn't get offers with the same frequency.

Is the same mailing address & PayPal address hooked up on each?

Actually, no- I have two paypal addies. When I signed up for the second account ebay wouldn't let me use the same address for both. Maybe their policy has changed though, it's been a couple years now.

Many do it, don't let them catch you though. You are technically only allowed one account to be signed up for Ebay Bucks and using a second account to exceed the limits can get you removed from the program.

http://pages.ebay.com/rewards/terms.html?ssPageName=STRK:VI:LNLK:TCS

Under Section 4...

Rewards. "Rewards" means a U.S. dollar amount which will be given in the form of an eBay Bucks Certificate (or, in eBay's sole discretion, cash) attributed to the Eligible Participant's eBay account and meets the following criteria:

Reward amount will be comprised of the base earn which is calculated as a percentage of Qualifying Spend plus any limited-time promotional offer(s) that eBay, in its sole discretion, may offer to Eligible Participants;
If the Qualifying Spend was for items listed on www.ebay.com in foreign currencies, the Reward amount will be calculated based on the exchange rate available to eBay at the time of payment (so the final Reward amount may differ slightly from the amount displayed at the time of purchase);
If eBay offers to an Eligible Participant multiple limited-time promotional offers for Rewards at any given time, that Eligible Participant will receive the promotional offer resulting in the highest Reward as calculated by eBay but limited-time promotional offers for Rewards may not be stacked or combined;
An Eligible Participant can earn up to US$100 in Rewards for each transaction, regardless of the number of items purchased in that transaction;
Over the course of each Earn Period, Rewards are capped at US$500 in Rewards for each Eligible Participant;
Rewards may only be earned on one eBay account per Eligible Participant, regardless of the number of eBay accounts used by such Eligible Participant;
Rewards will be tied to the eBay account of the Eligible Participant and Rewards cannot be combined across any other eBay accounts;
Unused Rewards on an eBay Bucks Certificate are forfeited when the eBay Bucks Certificate expires;
eBay reserves the right to hold back or otherwise suspend Rewards after purchase in its sole discretion to investigate compliance with eBay's policies. In such case, Rewards may not post for Qualifying Spend during eBay's investigation and will post if eBay clears the transaction; and
eBay reserves the right to fix any processing errors it discovers, which may result in adjustments to Rewards after posting.

Well this is the driving info I'm looking for. This is what eBay says in the eBay Bucks FAQ:

"Rewards may only be earned on one eBay account per Eligible Participant, regardless of the number of eBay accounts used by such Eligible Participant;"

I presume this means that I can have an account for myself, my wife and my business name ... and all three could earn eBay Bucks as each would be considered an eligible participant right? There's nothing in the FAQ regarding household's or addresses so it would make sense to me that owning these three specific accounts would be in line with the rules right?

Wondering if anyone has run into trouble in this kind of instance.

I am pretty sure it is per person, but we all know how Ebay can even interpret their own written policy at times. I have heard on the old Ebay boards of buyers being removed from the program, but not sure of the detials.

I have 2 eBay accounts and 1 PayPal account and same shipping address. As a general rule, one account I use for buying via auction and one for BIN/BO. I have never reached the cap of $500 on one account but I have exceeded the $500 total in a period between both accounts.
