Since we have no recorse from buyers leaving negative feedback I'm assuming you guys don't leave feedback for a buyer until they have left positive feedback for you? I've been selling more recently and just want to try and cover my butt a little.

I leave feedback after payment has been received and I have printed the shipping label for the item.

1. Why wait to leave it? There isn't anything you can do (feedback wise) if negative feedback is left for you.
2. Ideally this should improve your communication DSR since you are letting the buyer know that the payment has been received and/or item has been shipped.

I do the same as otmack, its easier to keep track of things if I leave feedback as soon as I pack it to ship.

or you could sign up with auctiva and you can set it so that it'll leave feedback for others automatically after they leave you feedback LOL.

I've always stayed away from auctiva after I got an email saying I needed to submit my payment through them to the buyer. Didn't like the idea of doing that, so I've never bothered with it.

I leave feedback when I get feedback as a seller. As a buyer I do it as soon as I receive the card.

I use auctiva also:D.... but for the reason mentioned above (DSR) I've started dropping feedback on buyers that seem to have forgotten all about it (only after I check that the package was delivered)

Sometimes I actually get a few to send back positive...yipee!:)

I always leave it first. Figure they can leave what they want, but 9/10 times if feedback has already been left for them, I'll have feedback left for me when the card arrives.

You can take off auctiva shipping, I use it all of the time and nobody ever gets an email from auctiva only reminding them to pay.
