This has become super annoying for me since my selling volume has increased
People are using google translate or whatever but it's just weird
Got this today from a buyer in China...
"me need cards lik vampere diari dobrev can play $04 plese email"
Really? WTF? I can sort of figure it out. How do I even respond? Does anyone expect this to be a smooth transaction?
I don't want to be a huge dick and block non-english speaking countries but, I mean, it's gonna happen.

Sorry just today's rant:doh:

I would not respond to that, because it sounds like he is soliciting you for a possible off Ebay transaction. Ebays bots have gotten aggressive and just responding to those messages have earned some sellers temporary listing suspensions. I got a one day for responding with measurements on a shirt I have listed.

Bots that could comprehend that would be a revolutionary AI spectacle. :D

I agree, but we are talking about Ebay. No telling how well they are programed and there is the word Email that is pretty clear.

I believe it's spreading. I think my buyer wants to return one card, and buy another (originally bought the wrong one). I told him he needs to ship the card back to me before I can refund him. Then I got this gem tonight. I'm now completely lost.

The 1st card A#87 ended at 1 apr
And then requested to return, so the should on your side now.

Or i would pay extra $$ to get another card from you

I need cards like Vampire Diaries (Nina) Dobrev, can pay $4, please email me back.

Having dealt with some sellers (I know your the buyer in this case) in China that had broken English, it really wasn't worth the effort and the problems that came with the language gap. Just reply saying that you appreciate their interest but are not currently shipping to China if you decide to not go forward with it.

in my seller preferences, I turned off purchasing from all countries/continents besides the US. not worth the hassle.
