I will always ship cards in a penny sleeve, toploader and teambag with fillers on either side. Sold a card for $30 free ship and seller is complaining "item not as received" because they didn't get the mag

I do this because I have had card in the past damaged due to shipping in mags

I would make them send it back. If they want to be that petty, they are going to return for the full refund.

And please share their ID so they can be blocked..

Well this is one the OP of that thread may need to read. He shows his cards on a stand.

He must really get disappointed with the sellers who photo a hot babe holding the card.

Did you explain this to them? Maybe it's a PC item and they want a nice holder for it. I do think it's petty but I guess if I thought I was getting something other than what I received I might be frustrated but I would try to be reasonable before sending an "Item Not Received" I can see the buyer and sellers view on this both.

I always indicate what exactly the cards will ship in somewhere in my item description (penny sleeve, toploader, two cardboard slats, bubble wrap and bubble mailer in that order) to avoid this kind of ordeal. for graded cards, I indicate the same, only including it will ship in a graded card sleeve as well.

??? Why would an INR even be filed? Even if it was if the tracking showed delivered it would be denied due to the delivery.

I guess you would have to ask the buyer who filed it.......................

Edit - In my initial reply I meant item not as received accidentally forgot the "as".

why not just take the time to take a picture of the card without the mag?

Yeah, people on eBay don't really read your listing descriptions, if they can even see it on the app or hidden on a second link they have to click on. If you're expecting people to read your listing, you're pretty much mistaken. They only look at the pictures now, and they don't even do that all too well.

I don't think it's unreasonable to receive what is pictured unless otherwise stated. Ebay asks for a picture of the item, not multiple items including the item you're selling. I feel the same way about putting multiple cards in the picture when only selling 1.

I do think the negative is excessive but if you're taking pictures in one touches and not shipping in them, you're asking for trouble.

I actually had this happen to me once and I no longer post pictures with cards in mags.
My solution was a minor pain but settled things.
I just sent a second package with just the one touch by itself.
Buyer was happy....... and blocked.

I get the opposite. I take a pic of the item and state how it will be shipped - sleeve, top loader, team bag, and it never fails after a BIN is hit or an auction is won I get the "can you send it in a mag" message.

If I have an extra mag sometimes I will if I see the message in time. Other times it's shipped as stated then I get the "did you not receive my message?" email.

It comes down to people just being cheap or trying to get an "extra or add on" for free.
