As many know the college baseball regionals start today. Thought I would start a thread as this is when I start to watch and pay attention to the college game. Living in Omaha, it is fun to follow who will end up punching their ticket to come see us.

Any thoughts on the regionals or picks for the games today. Any players you are looking forward to watching on this big stage? Is anyone betting the games today? Usually these games are hard for Vegas to cap and can provide good opportunity to those that follow it close.

I like the ole miss region. As a St Louisian I thought slu maybe could make it to their region final but they lost their best player yesterday. I could see MO State winning that’s. Honestly 1-3 could win that. I can see Stanford losing in their region but for sure their super. Costal Carolina is good. I think it’s not a stretch to say every super reginal will have an sec team, Corvallis one is biggest stretch and obviously not the two they don’t have a team in. I think it’s fl and then everyone else. I like or state cause of the arms. I think duke wins Athens reginal. Underdog id thinking about is mo state and long shot to make a super is um...Dallas baptist? No reason just always like them.

I actually played at SLU. Was born and raised in STL. Hated reading about the suspension. They do have a deep pitching staff which is important but I just don' see them doing much in this region. I sure do hope I am wrong and can't wait to watch the game tonight on the SEC network. I am on the under in that game. Obviously it is a major step up in competition from the A-10 but I am hopeful their staff will keep them in it. Tennessee Tech will be a fun team to watch in that regional in my opinion. They mash the ball.

You grew up here? Well then only question is what high school did you got to?

I thought cause of their pitching you never know. These things are all about eating innigs with starters and getting on base. Like you said tech can mash but not of other teams do.

Follow college softball a lot more than baseball, but cool that the Gophers are hosting a regional

I watched like 2 innings of softball last week and saw four game tying or walk off HRs. Softball is nice cause they can play a game in like 25 minutes

The 17 inning game last year was great of OK/FL. Still not sure how the committee justified not giving the Gophers a regional last year as the #1 ranked team into the selection

Awesome, go Bills! Cool that you have ties to SLU... my girlfriend is currently in the BioMed program there.
