I have never had issues with redemptions in my many years of selling on Ebay. Sold a Barkley 2018 Contenders Draft Bowl Ticket Auto RPS SSP Redemption Back in April, According to the Checklist...the card will be numbered to /25. Well, According to some Ebay know it all, since the actual Redemption card was not numbered, the card I sold was not as described....and awarded the Item not as Described case to the buyer even after I showed them the checklist and info on the card to be redeemed. So...now, this twatwaffle was awarded his money back, and I have yet to get my card back after numerous attempts to contact the buyer over the last few weeks. Hope this scum enjoys the freebie.

Ebay closed the case in their favor, charged my paypal, and refunded their money.

something isn't right. Not as described requires it to be shipped back prior to refund

Agree with above - somethings off. Did you not respond to the case?

I did, responded with the info on the card, that it was indeed as described per the checklist. That the card redeemed by the buyer would in fact be numbered to 25. Offered full refund with extra shipping cost. And was told since the actual card sold (The Redemption) itself was not numbered to /25 that the card indeed was falsely advertised and that they were siding with the buyer. It is what it is,they aren't responding to my emails.

this is nitpicking, but that is what ebay does
the item you sold (the actual redemption card) does not state anywhere that IT (the redemption card) is numbered to 25
this is your exact title
"2018 CONTENDERS DRAFT PICKS SAQUON BARKLEY COLLEGE BOWL TICKET RPS /25"
this is the complete description
"2018 CONTENDERS DRAFT PICKS SAQUON BARKLEY COLLEGE BOWL TICKET RPS /25"
in ebay's mind, you were not selling the saquon barkley card /25, you were selling an unnumbered redemption card for that item.
i am not pointing this out to say you did anything wrong, just pointing out the wording is what got you in this situation (and a warning for others who sell redemption cards). always include in title and description that you are selling the redemption card and not the actual card they will receive from the redemption.

They still should have to return something, even if they redeemed it. Ebay does not typically allow buyers to keep items and get a refund unless the seller agrees to it or fails to respond to the case in time.

This is why Ebay is losing it's luster and hopefully someone comes in with some competition! Ebay is all for the buyers, they can not pay and you can't leave them a negative-WTF! That sucks but hopefully paypal or ebay can step in for you!

Any site will have to follow the same or similar policies. Many of these policies are set by the Credit Card companies. Amazon can be even tougher for sellers and sellers cannot leave buyers any kind of feedback. Leaving negs for buyers really never did anything anyway. Many buyers either snipe or hit BIN and pay immediately so the seller may be stuck selling to them regardless of the feedback.

Sportlots has been around a while. I'd love to see that grow.
