What are the chances an Ovechkin 3 Color The Cup RPA /99 is real?

I have a chance to buy a 3 color Ovechkin. The price seems a little too good to be true, so I'm thinking it just might be.... I remember most of these patches being one color when the product came out, but now searching eBay it looks like they are all 3 colors...

Going to stay away from it if I can confirm that they are like the 2007 Exquisite Adrian Petersons (which were mostly 1-2 colors and somehow turned into 3 colors).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Sorry I do not have a scan, the card was in person.

Do you have the serial number? Have you checked Worthpoint? If it’s ever sold on eBay before you can check if it had the same patch then.

good link, it he would have a card with a serial number not on that base and the patch differs too much from those that are known there its obvious its a fake one, otherwise it isnt since there are like half of them already on that page 3 colors and those all are legit and worth tons of money..

Use he PWCC search engine. You can go back to 2005 with that and cross reference your serial number.
