Hey all,
Recently, I've been dealing with some tough family problems. Thanks to all of you guys for the support. Since I'm already in Chicago, I'm meeting up with a family member. His late father collected, and their family had a bit of money. I'll be helping him out in the liquidation. For all the higher end cards, I'll be assisting him in selling. In return, he will be giving me all the low end cards. I see a lit of sorting in my future. I'll hopefully be helping others out with sets.
This is all I know as of now:
The years range from 60s to 90s
I'll be taking pictures for you guys
He has, or used to have a really nice Willie May's card
I'll be starting today. And eating a lot of Chicago deep dish pizza. After some family health problems, this is just why the doctor recommended. I'll keep you updated, hope I can find some nice stuff.

That's what my first glance is. I see some uncut sheets. I'm not really sure what value those hold, but they're pretty darn cool. I hope to dig in tonight. First, some deep dish pizza.

Update time:
The boxes were all full of unopened wax from 1990-92. Absolutely nothing else in those boxes. Those all are going to me. I'll probably have some fun times opening them up, and send them out TTM, and maybe a fun project. Apparently, his sister came and took binders full of 20s through 70s cards. She knows nothing about sports. I just hope they stay on the family, and don't get sold for pennies somewhere.
The uncut sheets are cool, and should be a fun item to display.
Now for the 1 big find.
Complete set of 1975 Topps baseball. So here is where I ask for advice. Cards are in decent shape. Should I grade the more valuable ones, or just sell the whole set. This would be his money, and I'd like to maximize theprofit. .
Fun side note, I was at Target shopping with them, and found 4 Bowman Mega boxes. I bought those, that's the first time I've ever seen them. Anyway, I'll get into details on what was we have when I get home tomorrow, but really looking for opinions on the 75 Topps now.

Probably a good thing we took the Buick. It was a really tough time packing this up. Can't wait to keep going through this when I get home.

Got through some stuff. Sorted everything by sport. Started with basketball since there wasn't much. Wound up with 31 total Jordan cards, so at least there is some value there.

That's the link to the break thread. Most packs I've ever opened in 1 sitting. Football starts tomorrow!
