The Panini IG post has #Exclusive which could mean a lot of things. But I hope it's similar to the exclusive contracts of Kobe, Durant, Kyrie, and Dame, which would mean a lot more autos than guys like Ewing, Webber, and Miller.

Maybe this will be a Dave Bing or Bob Cousy scenario where they sign but not much and it helps more people obtain rather than completely diminish the value of the existing.

They are not overpriced if you consider he hasn't signed in 20 years, and there are only 5 autos of him with more than 50 copies (1997-98 Skybox Autographics, 1997-98 Skybox Autographics Century Marks /100, 1999-00 Fleer Focus Fresh Ink, 1999-00 Skybox Autographics, 1999-00 Skybox Autographics /50).

maybe not everyone is knowing that, but Barkley not only had his last Auto Cards in the late 90´s and early 00s, no, he pretty much had no Cards at all since the early 00s. In Fact less than 40 Cards since 99-00.

I never really understand why his non Auto Cards are that cheap because he only had the Junk Wax Era and Golden Age 90´s Cards.

also im a firm believer that all nba players that seldom signed will eventually sign again especially once they retire. i remember dirk, malone, reggie miller, webber all didnt sign for years but now sign for panini. im sure they get offered thousands of dollars and all they have to do is write their name a bunch of times. i just hate how panini spams their autos now so imo they are still less desirable than the old ones

eventually guys like duncan, garnett, even rasheed wallace if he hasnt already will come around

man, CB collectors were already paying a premium, but now its a lil more plentiful and more /1 /2 /3 /5 /10 etc i can see the competition remaining fierce as the people that always wanted a sir charles auto but never wanted to throw down like his PC guy will now have a realm to play in along with newer set collectors etc

I'm with you. I totally get it from a business perspective - get the guy to sign as many sheets of stickers as you can, but I also kinda hate it. Like I just love the idea of Phil Jackson only having 11 autographs in Spectra and that's it. I wish there were more super limited hits like that.
