I way overpaid for it considering when I started chasing the Jordan cards in this set I was getting the green ones for about $70 and paid $400 for it
please don't let some of my Bulls stuff fool you I save for months most times to pick up a PC item and often lose out to collectors that seem like they have endless funds. so 400 for 1 card is a killer in my budget, but I would have paid more considering it helped me complete an almost 20-year chase....lol

I was impressed when I saw it in the bulls thread but I didn't realize what it entirely was. I'd love to do encore fx set/125 but am always overwhelmed by the number of Jordan's in it. It's something special to see this!

Wow this is one of the best sets I have ever seen. Amazing photos on those cards.

Also love the Rodman auto... It is as if Upper Deck said to Rodman before he signed.... "uh... hey Dennis, we're going to need you to give us some of your 2003-04 Rodman. None of that "DR", off the card, Panini b******* you've been inscribing. Yea, thanks."

Man that is absolutely astonishing. For years I wanted just ONE of those quad diamond MJs. I broke a couple boxes of black diamond when I got back into collecting a few years back and never even pulled so much as a double diamond MJ! I have all the base, I've bought/traded for about half of the double diamonds and have like 3 of the triples and I did finally pick up one lonely quad diamond a few months back.

I feel your pain about deep-pocketed collectors seemingly swiping everything you want too. I've found myself beginning to, at least from my P.O.V. overpay pretty significantly for some rare 90s Mitch Richmonds that just don't pop up much anymore because I'm afraid I won't see one for another year or 5. Then, of course, I can't buy anything for like 2 months and miss out on one, or have to have a firesale thread or something haha.

Regardless, my stuff completely pales in comparison to that post. They look awesome all laid out like that one-by-one. Feel privileged to see them honestly! Many many congrats man :)!

then once it got down to like the final 3

the Jordan market exploded, or the ones that did show up I had already.

Green 4 star #150 - ( I agree these are like Budget PMGs )

buckunteer- keep chasing, it does get frustrating chasing and losing cards because of ridicules prices. but I found if I overpay a little and get the card it feels better than losing it and never seeing it again .... as long as you don't go so over budget that it starts to affect real life...lol :)!:)! good luck...

I remember seeing and collecting to some extent the UD Jordan subsets in the 99 releases and saying (after not even finising the base versions), who in their right mind would complete these? 20 years later you got your card, and I got my answer. :) Thanks.
