Yes they will. Send that bad boy in. If they don’t have it you can get a replacement of their choosing.

I redeemed a 2013 redemption a few months ago. It wasn’t denied or anything like that. I haven’t got anything yet, but I’m really hoping the card somehow gets made.

As others said, they'll take it. If they have it they'll send it, otherwise I've heard what they've started doing with expired redemptions they can't fulfill is offer points.

This is correct all the offer now for expires redemptions they don’t have is points

They will honor it, but the caveat being that if they do not have any more of that particular card, the redemption will sit basically forever in your queue unless/until you get a hold of someone in Customer Support to help you

The answer is NO.
Panini's policy has quietly changed in the last few months.
They'll make you wait 4 months and then give you points that they equate to being equal with the redemption.

Just the other week, I entered a expired redemption into the system, and it went through and I received the card the other day. It was from 2015 I believe.
