So, as the title says, two boxes of Elements, and one redemption in each box, both of which were supposed to be the "big hits" for each pack.

I get it, it sucks getting 2 boxes and getting a redemption in each box, but those redemptions are pretty good hits and like I pull scrubs said above, it could have been much, much worse

Yes, the hits are nice. I would really like the Ryan auto for the PC.

I currently have two redemptions out, both reaching nearly a year. That is the real problem.

1 per box x2 pfffff done that before. I had 3 in 1 box of 07 Premier look up Cards Infinity he broke it for me. The real kicker thou all were expired.

I get that these are 'good hits' if they make it to the OP, but breaking open wax should be fun, right? Imagine a kid cracks it open and he basically gets nothing. That rush of excitement, meh. Instead 'here's something you may OR may not get, maybe in a year, who knows?'. I completely understand OP's feeling, despite the names being good.

If a kid(I'm guessing you mean someone 5-17 years of age) has over $230 to spend on 2 boxes that contain 4 cards each, he must be pretty well off, so I have very little sympathy, but that is just me. Opening wax is gambling, plain and simple.

Opening wax is gambling, plain and simple.Redemptions come in all price points, not just this set. Kids definitely rip wax for birthdays etc. Redemptions aren't ok as far as I'm concerned. At any price.
