So apparently, some glitch in the system reset my mailing address to my ex-wife's house. I didn't catch it until tonight and it would appear that about four packages of cards are headed her way now.

Guess I'll just forget those existed.

If they are "headed" her way and not delivered or close you can try to contact the PO and see if theyll forward them to you? Maybe reach out to your sellers and ask them to do the same? Probably wont work but definitely worth a try. If that fails, depending on how much she hates you, you could ask her for them and if she says no then depending on how much you hate her, you can file mail fraud charges against her lol

USPS does provide a "package intercept" program but it costs $20.95. Here's hoping the ex is cool about this haha.

No kids or other relatives that can intervene to grab them?

I think by law that your ex can not open them.

Just tell her about the laws, and she should be more than willing to hand them over.

Shes a lawyer and im In law enforcement so not so worried sbout the legalities of the situation. Shes surely savvy enough not to commit any crimes. I emailed her back on the 25th explaining the situation amd have yet to hear a response.

That is how i foresaw this playing out - total non-response. So i bit the bullet and paid the $20 per package to have them held at the local post office.

The moral of the story here, however, is to make sure your address is correct when checking out of ebay.

I had something similar happen in terms of my address but not card related...

When printing a shipping label via Paypal for an eBay sale, I hadn't noticed it was using an old return address of mine. I sold an iPhone on the Bay and a few hours after I had placed it in the mail, I get a notice from eBay that the account was fraudulent and not to ship, whoops. Apparently, the shipping location was for international buyers in Florida and after doing some research on it, many threads said it was shady AF to ship anything there and you are doing so at your own accord, I had no idea.

I was able to stop the package RIGHT BEFORE DELIVERY (that was a harrowing experience itself) and have it rerouted back to me, it took a few weeks but it got reversed. At some point in the process I realized that Paypal was still defaulting to my old address on the shipping label, so the package was ultimately rerouted there.

Not wanting to lose a $300 iPhone, I left the new tenants a note (it was only a 15 min drive to do so) that it had been tracked as returned and text me if they got it. I got a text the next day and this nice 20-something girl met me at the door with my package and I was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. They could have just as easily opened it and been very happy with what they saw, glad to see there are still some good people in the world and it all had a happy ending.

Just hope the PO catches them. I don't think there is any guarantee onthat and its on-refundable if they don't

According to their status they’ve been “intercepted”. Whew.

This happened to me. Sent to an old address. Ebay refunded myself and the buyer
