So I pulled a Sam Darnold Elite Draft Auto Green Die Cut #d/5 way back at release but the die cut edges were destroyed. I sent it in to have it replaced. 4 months later still nothing. Finally got a hold of customer service and expect it to be another month, maybe.
So at this point, with all the other releases out, do I just ask for different cards as replacements? Feeling that NFL uni cards have already started to drop its value, but it is a #d/5 card.
Thanks for the input in advance.

You wont get a replacement. This isnt a redemption not being fulfilled. You had the card, and sadly it wasn't the quality it should have been, but at the same time you're not the only one who has a damage replacement, so you just have to wait your turn.
is it a highly desirable set? No, but it is a SSP parallel of one of the big guys from this class, and it'll be worth the wait. So just relax

They were actually very helpful and did discuss possibly replacing it if I didn’t want to wait. I’ve never replaced any redemptions either before. Just traded them in for points at the last national I went to.

Bumping this from a couple wks ago because I have a similar situation with a card that I won from a group break. The replacement process states you need to include proof that you are the original owner (packs, receipts, etc) so if you won the card in a group break would it really work if we send it in as so many had suggested to the OP?

Reach out to the Panini Customer Service account on Twitter (https://twitter.com/PaniniCSM). Thats your best bet. I've had an auto replaced before and didn't have to send in anything besides the card. I was the breaker so I had all the information if it was needed but they never asked for it. You can always ask the breaker to send you a pack if it's possible and you can send that in though as a backup.

Found this email (jwhite@paniniamerica.net) in another thread and it was mentioned that he had quick response time to emails. Gotta say, when he responded to me like 5 minutes after I wrote to him at 8PM PST, I was very impressed.
And in his response he said don't even worry about sending the minibox in this case (since it is NT and there are no pack wrappers to send).
So far, so good, but we'll see what the final outcome is here. When you have high-end products, top rookies and nice patches all in-play, it will be very interesting to see how Panini handles it. Crossing my fingers on this one...
