The NFL Regular season is right around the corner so I figured this would be a fun exercise that we can all look back on in January and laugh. Obviously, all of these are a shot in the dark but you never know. My MVP pick last year (David Johnson) didn’t fare too well haha.

Here are my predictions for the 2018 NFL season:

NFC:

- Los Angeles Rams: 10-6
- San Francisco 49ers: 9-7
- Seattle Seahawks: 7-9
- Arizona Cardinals: 7-9

- Minnesota Vikings: 12-4
- Green Bay Packers: 10-6
- Detroit Lions: 7-9
- Chicago Bears: 5-11

- Philadelphia Eagles: 10-6
- Dallas Cowboys: 8-8
- New York Giants: 7-9
- Washington Redskins: 6-10

- New Orleans Saints: 12-4
- Atlanta Falcons: 10-6
- Carolina Panthers: 8-8
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 3-13

AFC:

- Jacksonville Jaguars: 10-6
- Houston Texans: 10-6
- Tennessee Titans: 7-9
- Indianapolis Colts: 6-10

- Los Angeles Chargers: 10-6
- Kansas City Chiefs: 9-7
- Oakland Raiders: 8-8
- Denver Broncos: 7-9

- Cincinnati Bengals: 6-10
- Cleveland Browns: 4-12

- New England Patriots: 12-4
- Miami Dolphins: 9-7
- New York Jets: 5-11
- Buffalo Bills: 4-12

NFC Playoffs:

1. New Orleans Saints
2. Minnesota Vikings
3. Philadelphia Eagles
4. Los Angeles Rams
5. Green Bay Packers
6. Atlanta Falcons

First Round:

Atlanta Falcons 26 @ Philadelphia Eagles 20
Green Bay Packers 31 @ L.A. Rams 21

Second Round:

Atlanta Falcons 17 @ New Orleans Saints 33
Green Bay Packers 27 @ Minnesota Vikings 24

NFCCG:

Green Bay Packers 28 @ New Orleans Saints 34

AFC Playoffs:

1. New England Patriots
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
4. Los Angeles Chargers
5. Houston Texans
6. Miami Dolphins

First Round:

Miami Dolphins 10 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 27
Houston Texans 24 @ Los Angeles Chargers 33

Second Round:

Los Angeles Chargers 30 @ New England Patriots 23
Jacksonville Jaguars 24 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 27

AFCCG:

Los Angeles Chargers 19 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 24

SUPER BOWL:

Pittsburgh Steelers 30 @ New Orleans Saints 34

SB MVP: Alvin Kamara, Saints

NOTE: I really wanted to put the Chargers here. Like bad. But I don’t think they could seal the deal this year although I wouldn’t be shocked if they make a deep run into the playoffs. I really like the makeup of the team and I believe Derwin James will light it up on the defensive side of the ball.

NOTE 2: I also wanted to provide a Super Bowl matchup that we have yet to see. Part of me wanted to put Packers/Steelers or Falcons/Patriots, but I settled with Saints/Steelers.

***************************************

Awards:

NFL MVP: Drew Brees, Saints

NFL OPOTY: Antonio Brown, Steelers

NFL DPOTY: Aaron Donald, Rams

NFL OROTY: Ben Simmons... I kid, I kid... Saquon Barkley, Giants

NFL DROTY: Derwin James, Chargers

Comeback POTY: Andrew Luck, Colts

So what say you, Blowout?

There’s too much hype for Jimmy G. Im calling it right now, he doesn’t make playoffs and I don’t even think he gets a winning record

49ers storm through the league Super Tecmo Bowl style and beat the Patriots 99-0 in the Super Bowl.

Joking aside, I think OP has it pretty close to what I imagine though I don’t know about the Saints. The Rams feel primed for a serious run.

As a die hard Niner fan I think we're an 8-8 team at best. Our defense is putrid outside our DL.

Not good at predicting playoffs, etc, but I would say that Rodgers will definitely get the come back player of the year, easily.

Said in another thread...

Jimmy G will be average

Vikings will take a step back, be closer to 8-8 than 13-3

The 16-0 Broncos beat the falcons in the Super Bowl as Chad Kelly wins both regular season and Super Bowl MVP and goes on to throw for 5000 yards and 50TDs

Browns over Falcons in the Super Bowl. Baker does the crotch grab to Dan Quinn and his defense. He only gets tackled once but it's at the after party by APD. :)!
