Thanks - Looks like it was graded earlier on - but I actually like the auto compared to most of them out there.
I don't think it turned that way, just a little streak but it looks nice imo

That’s about as strong an auto as you’re going to get from Rodgers on that card. Beauty!

I've seen a lot of Derek Carr autos grade a 10 that are crap compared to this beauty. This is actually one of the best if not the best I've seen for this card congrats op.

Yep - quite a chunk of change but figured it was a pretty safe investment with some nice upside, and will give me some rooting interest to boot.

Thanks! That's what I thought in my searches too. I actually went home for lunch to sign to for it, taking a shot that Fed Ex might come in that time frame - which they did! I was super stoked, it's been a while between these type of mail days that get the juices flowing.

I’m sure it’s a great auto for that card/set per the usual. My question was about grading process. Even if his strongest auto is streaking, does that make it a 10? Just questions, people need to relax.

I cant stand A Rodgers as a Cowboys fan but that is a beautiful card and auto. Congrats on a great card. And compared to a lot of Rodgers autos that one is very solid.

I happened to be off yesterday and was just searching random high end stuff with nothing in mind (Brady, LeBron, Trout, Rodgers, etc) and saw this was newly listed with 20 watchers and a ton of offers out of the gate. I knew I better come strong as I saw the last one sold for $5750 (if that was even a real sale, who knows) - actually when he accepted I second guessed myself and thought maybe I should have offered $5000. But, got $100 in Ebay bucks and I did very well on the Trout - so figured why not - but usually I like to try and work the best possible price too.

The time was right. Picked it up a few years ago and really did well on it - sold it to a very solid Blowout member looking to complete a rainbow.

In 2011 Topps made a Hope Diamond Parallel for the 60th anniversary (diamond anniversary) of the flagship brand. They were limited to 60, which is a minuscule amount for a flagship Topps run, and absolutely beautiful. Since it was the only year they did the Hope Diamond, they are in high demand.

Thought most people said PSA 10 was always going to cost more? That one is PWCC too and they always go higher there. :)

Yep always knew PSA 10 commands a premium but never saw one close to $10k. Seems high - even for PWCC. I’ll just consider it a spike :)!

They (everything) have jumped, no question...I still don't believe these are jumps/spikes, this is just a fix (along with Brees) and rightfully so!!! Football will obviously never be like basketball or baseball across the board, but with Brees and Rodgers, each for obvious and different reasons, have been fixed and have sailed!!

Funny, even while mainly collecting basketball and baseball, I've always wanted a Brees Contenders Gem Mint. considering how cheap they were, etc. So I guess I "sort of new" but just took it for granted they would be cheap for a while longer, NOT!! And because he has been my favorite athlete, I gladly right in the nick of time took of advantage of Rodgers, sort of as I had to pay big bucks for his best stuff but still did very well considering what they would sell for now..

I have a Hope Diamond Trout ungraded. Curious what you guys think the value would be. Not for sale, actually trying to complete the entire 2011 Topps Hope Diamond set. Series 1, 2 and Update and Legends. About 86% complete at this point. Still need a bunch so let me know if any of you have any. :) Cheers.
