Lost card alert

Just want to inform that this card was sent from Indonesia to a good buyer in California. The tracking said it was stuck in USPS San Francisco processing Center for two full months. The buyer
made calls to Customs, and USPS of course; still they have no idea what is going on, said that the article wasn’t with them, even though tracking said it was definitely in SF USPs Processing Center. I issued a refund to the buyer apparently. Due to lot of lost mail from overseas to the States lately I just want to alert if anyone from this forum see this card just be aware.

I know it’s not an MJ card but still; it worth something.

Man that’s a nice card . Over seas shipping such a risky deal. And that’s from my personal experience. Lost money, encountered some bad deals

That's a nice card. As an international buyer I know how dicey shipping can be. Hope you get a resolution.

I’m going through something similar right now. Card shipped August 4th got to NY USPS 17 August and tracking has not updated since. It’s now September 8th. I really hope you get your card and at least your money back.

USPS has a lot of issues atm with incoming international shipments...

I received a ebay mail that ebay is having new policy on overseas shipping goin in to USA..

The problem with USPS they only scan when it arrives in their office and after that they dont bother to scan to whichever state it goes thru.. so the receiver has no idea that item is in transit to his state at least this could give the receiver an idea that item is in the state where he is and could able to wait for the item to be attempted delivery to his place. But since usps dont scan them and receiver dont have a heads up, then maybe when item is attempted to be delivered. Nobody is there expected to pick up, especially those mails with signature confirmation. So it ends up goin back to usps main postage and sent back to wherever the origin of the mail is..

I have encountered mails after being scanned in SF from singapore (with me) some gets update tracking till item is delivered to which ever state it is heading and some only update is in SF..

Wow, good to know Jocel.... it depends on the "Postman" whether he/she want to scan or not...I saw 99% of my shipment to US went to the delivery address, some "Delivered", some just "Arrived at Unit"

OK, another one went missing and I have to issue a refund. Holy mother of God.

This time the tracking said “Arrived at Unit” since August 23 2018 and the buyer sId never received it. He asked around the neighbours and of course local Post Office. Nobody knows where’s that card go.

It’s a 2000-01 Ultimate Collection Game Jersey Patches Shaquille O’Neal 74/75

If anyone see this card poppin up somewhere just please let me know :)

Earlier this year I purchased a card from Europe. It arrived in the USA but that is where the tracking ended. I waited for many weeks. It ended up past the time that I could make a claim with eBay but I made a claim with PayPal and got my money refunded. The seller was pretty upset. Fast forward 6 months and the same exact card showed up on eBay and it was at a local hobby shop in my city. Despite the tracking stating it arrived in destination country, it never updated but ended up in my area. I purchased the card in person and asked where they got the card, but of course they had no idea. I did the right thing and contacted the original seller. I offered him fair compensation. In the end, I ended up paying for the card twice. The original seller got back 75% and was grateful. I hope everything works out for you in the end.

arrived at unit means its at the post office before it goes out for delivery unless its a PO box or something.

I see the last scan was in Bristol, CT. Having lived there for 4 years I have nothing good to say about their post office. Several times my packages would be scanned as delivered but I wouldn’t actually receive it until a week or so later. Sometimes they didn’t scan it at all. Surprisingly out of the hundreds of packages I mailed out and received none were ever totally lost, they were always found eventually.

Yes.. singapore post always coordinates on the usps site.. both goes scan facility in san francisco and that always end up that way..
