I have a comc address on ebay.
Today I bid in a probstein auction and got the message they don't ship to Portugal, although I have a US address listed.
I am currently bidding in 2 other probstein auctions and didn't get any error message.
So my question is: is this happening because probstein listed this particular card differently in terms of shipping, which since I have a US address doesn't make sense.
I am really lost here, this has never happened...

In your Ebay account you can switch between your Portuguese and your ComC adress, could it be that when bidding/winning this auction you erroneousely had chosen the Portuguese adress ??

No, I even went to another probstein auction the next second and placed a bid on a different card which was accepted. It's just this specific card I can't bid on...

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that it might be a glitch in eBay where you are essentially getting mixed messages.
In the last three days or so, I've had a couple of weird things happen to me on eBay, at least on the app. The first one might have been similar or the same as what you're experiencing, as the seller was in Canada and I'm in the US. I had originally added the item to my watch list without any issues, but then went back into it a couple days later and was encountering an error saying something like "seller won't ship to your country" or something along those lines. It wasn't even auction ending time and I wasn't there to place a bid. I thought it was very weird that I'd get such an error message, because I would have expected to have been prevented from looking at the auction, or at least adding it to my watch list if that was going to be an issue. Fast forward to the day of auction ending, and there were no problems whatsoever, and I even won the auction and paid the expected shipping fee cost and not something strange or unexpected. The second issue actually wound up scaring me at the end of an auction, as I couldn't find the seller's shipping cost nor his country location. I wound up not bidding on the item as I didn't want any trouble with a seller possibly raking me over the coals with some shipping cost that I couldn't see at the time of placing my bid. After the auction had ended, it showed again that he was a US seller, and the shipping cost would have been a very standard $3.50.
I'm very grumpy these days regarding eBay, and have a series of complaints (yes, some of them are whiny), but I won't unload those here. Best of luck in resolving this issue OP, I hope it's a temporary glitch that won't prevent you from bidding on something you want.

That sounds like a glitch in the code of the listing itself.
Or could be when they were listing it they accidentally clicked on something that affected it. Every once in a while I will be listing and see unexpected charges or something like that and when I go back though I see I accidentally clicked on something that applied the new charge. So it does happen.
