My best PSA sub of all time - Jayson Tatum style

I'm pretty high on Tatum and have been hoarding his Prizm base cards (I mean, at $10 a pop, I can't resist). I recently went through them all and sent in my best ones. Cleaned 'em up good. The results:

I sent in 35 Prizm base and got 33 PSA 10's and 2 PSA 9's.
I sent in one Emergent Green Prizm and got a PSA 10. One Red/White/blue Prizm got a PSA 10, and one regular silver Prizm and hit a PSA 10 on that, which is approaching a $600 card.

Also sent in 2 2008 Durant Topps Chrome refractors and got a PSA 9 and a PSA 10 (pop 5).

So overall, 37/40 got PSA 10's. Pretty happy.

Which Durant did you send in? You say pop 5 but his Topps Chrome Refractor is a pop 155. Was it one of the more limited colors?

It was the second year Durant Chrome base refractor (#156), 2008-09. Pop says 4 right now, but this will make 5. That year of chrome is really strange; almost no cards sent in for grading. Amazingly, the card can be had for around $100 in PSA 10, which is surprising for a 2nd year chrome refractor, but I'm betting it will go up over the years. Thanks again!

For sure! Just look at LeBron's 2nd, 3rd, 4th year and on Topps Chrome Refractors. They've gone up significantly. The same will likely happen to KD.

Congrats. Those are amazing grades. I have a few subs currently there too so hoping for similar results. The Silver Tatum is a huge card. I agree on the Durant 2008 TC Refractors. I actually picked up the one from PWCC that ended last night for $155 or so. So they're already going up, lol. Or, maybe I am just a sucker for refractors.

I thought I was sitting on gold before the season started. Dude is shooting 41 FREAKING % from the floor. 15 ppg. Just horrible. Glad I sold the Prizms when I did but everything else is going to have to wait a while now.

As others have mentioned, Tatum is a long-term hold. Hopefully he is still a factor in the hobby whenever he is finally given the reins to Boston.
