CBS Total Points league comes down to final week

With one week remaining in the season, our work league which is a total points league, not matchups, comes down to the final week.

My team (Acuna Matata) - 5809.20 points
coworker (R.I.P. - team was renamed a few weeks ago because he blew a monster lead) - 5803.27

Coming out of the All-Star Break I was behind by 246.4 points. On August 19th, I was 180 points back still. On September 2nd (2 weeks yes) I was 8 points back. This has been a big season long comeback for me.

Just wanted to share the lineups we are each rolling out for the final scoring period. Lineups lock today, it's a weekly locking lineup league too. So once today goes live, no more changes.

I won with a final score of 6075.36-5981.40, the final 7 days I outscored my coworker 266.16-178.13

I think today's games will actually count towards the season totals, but there isn't enough players on either team to change the nearly 100 point difference.

The 6075 points scored this season also marks the second highest point total in league history (4 years), with the highest being 6101, so if today's games do count I could possibly catch the league record. I am also the first repeat champion in the league, and have finished 2nd, 1st, 10th, 1st in the four years. Once I was out of the money last season I tanked for a better draft pick.

Yeah they counted as well. CBS automatically extended the season by one day for that. I finished at 6080.70 points
