I don't really have a PC. Lately I've been trying to pick out a few cards here and there that I will put in the proverbial vault. I have sold so many cards over the years to make a few hundred bucks only to miss out on thousands later on. So, I'm trying to be smarter in what I put away. I've been looking for a few Lebrons and somehow in the past 6 weeks I landed these three just by searching ebay. It looks like I might have started a very expensive PC:D

Nothing is for sale.

Card #1 - 2004-05 SP Authentic "Essentials" Extra Limited Parallel (smallest print run parallel in the set, I believe). Awesome 2nd year Lebron.

Card #2 - 2003-04 Fleer Mystique Die Cut RC /600. I showed this card a few weeks ago ungraded, but recently had it slabbed.

And now the biggie...so excited to pick up this monster....

Wait for it....

Card #3 - 2003-04 Fleer Mystique "Secret Weapons" Gold. Very excited about this one!

This one was slabbed back in '07. Yes, it is mine. Maybe your neighbor has the 23/500?

Reminds me of the time I inadvertently stumbled into a strip joint.
I didn't mean to love! It was an accident!

Nasty cards by the way....

Great stuff OP. Reminded me of this insane #/23 Lebron collection video from back in 2010 if you haven't seen it.

What. On. Earth.

I do not believe I have ever seen that. That is the most absurd collection in the history of basketball cards. Does anyone know the story behind this? I know Idol has a few of these for sale, so I'm sure he knows the person, but this is utterly astounding. Like, I don't even know what to say. I cannot believe one person has that many of the rookie #23 cards. Anyone know if this person still has them all? I am speechless. Wow.

Ya I think this is the 23rd time I have watched that video. I think he can cash in and move into the mansion on hilltop.

Jeez I’m embarrassed of my collection now lol

he also has a Carmelo RC jersey numbered collection video as well.

obviously not as valuable as the Lebron stuff, but just as impressive nonetheless!!

Sorry, I just remember stumbling across it years ago when I was down a youtube rabbit hole. Dude must have been going hard in the paint to win all those auctions but the investement must have AT LEAST doubled if he still owns them considering this was before LBJ won any rings.

Also it's annoying how sloppily the video is shot for such a mother load of cards.

I would think the collection today would easily be worth 20 to 25 x what he paid. Look at the sticker prices on some of those. Just crazy!
