We are about 2 weeks away from release and I’m shocked no one is talking about this product.

It’s because there are already waaaaaaaaay to many products. We already just got opulence and now impeccable getting shoved down our throats.

it's because it's gone downhill. rpas don't hold value and the box prices keep going up. if you don't pull and acetate rpa or a unreal patch of a rc or superstar or some shoe card it's a total bust. in opulence you have more hits, in noir it's cheaper, you can wait til flawless, etc.

Too much actual basketball chatter on the boards recently. We needed a good thread where we can really sink our teeth into Panini with the same tired old lines. Thanks for this one OP.

Yea man, talking about actual basketball really sucks. I'd much prefer trashing poopini yet continuing to buy their products

Product fatigue.

Also last year's was a bust so don't think there is a lot of excitement surrounding this release

Haha 100%. We can talk about action photography and card design and parallels until we're blue in the face, but when someone drops a "poopnini" thats like throwing chum in the water for our fellow collectors.

echoing what others have said, with Heritage, BC, various football products, it really is hard to keep up with the next hot thing. Immaculate will have its moment a few days before release....and it will DEFIANTLY have it's moment when FOTL Immaculate drops next week most likely...

but yea, product fatigue may be the answer to the op's comment

That was from impeccable not immaculate.

Immaculate looks just about the same every year. It’s gotten very stale to me. Last years release was a real kick in the nuts, compared to previous years.

I would argue that not only was 16-17 not as good as the first two years, it wasn’t close. The original acetate rookies were incredible..... and somehow got even better on 13-14. Since then? Terrible. It’s just gotten worse and worse.

I’m hoping it’s nice enough this year to get me to buy a Donovan /45.

Immaculate is still one of the best products and brands in my opinion.
Best patch cards on the market. Still overpriced but still nice...
Lets wait for the first live images. Prices will climb due to the Rookie class!
Looking forward to this release!

I’m hoping it’s nice enough this year to get me to buy a Donovan /45.This. Acetates has the potential to be THE RC to own, until panini weakened the design every year, starting in 2014-15.

Fatigue Schmatigue, guys who were lucky enough to snag boxes of FOTL Immaculate this morning for $425 are already getting almost $800 a friggin box on ebay right now!!.......and the only FOTL exclusive bonus is either a base card /5 or jumbo patch /8.

Those teeny tiny patches of player worn jerseys with the streaky autos on extensively chipped cards are real nice.

Best of luck to anyone breaking this stuff. Last year's stuff was horrific to watch.

I have a sealed case and 2 loose boxes of regular with 2 FOTL boxes. Got my regular boxes for a great price. Worst part is I’ll be out of town all week for work just waiting to get home and open them.

Remember when UD used to flood the market with product after product. Now its Paninis turn. Maybe when and if topps and UD gets basketball back all this Panini stuff will explode like how UD and topps stuff did recently. Never ending cycle I guess?

The Reggie Miller/Allen Iverson dual is pretty cool but there isn't much of a connection besides them both meeting in playoffs a few times. Reggie/Larry Bird would've been cool, as would Reggie/Shaq for Finals meeting. Reggie/Lonzo is kind of weak I know the UCLA connection but it was just a way to get more Lonzo's.

Panini was so close to making a great Cavs triple auto. Would have loved if they got wade to sign instead of Tristan Thompson. Would have been great to have the 2 guys who called out Kevin Love on a triple auto with him.

They should have made it Love/Thompson/Smith... no clue why they would include Thomas. Personally I'd rather have current Cavs players. They should have done a triple with Hood/Hill/Nance Jr. and a quad with Tristan/Love/Smith/Frye.



Interesting to see the base dropped to /75 and the blues are /25 this time and the red /35.

Bit disappointed Devin Booker auto's have dried up a bit, only has the dual with JJ

I see all those Reggie Miller shoe card parts + Logoman Auto 1/1's I'll have to get lucky or I'll never own any of them sadly; knowing Panini though they'll all come from Asia, probably will end up there one way or another.

Looks to be that way and most of his autos were not only ugly looking, but they were stickers too, so they're basically invalid. He didn't do too many on card autos which were also appealing. Thankfully I got one of the best ones available.

They also did a triple auto with Kemp, Payton and..............Ray Allen. WTF?

Nothing against Ray, but that card should've been topped off by Detlef, or Hawkins, or Perkins. SOMEONE that was part of THAT Sonics team.

Well, I'm going after the Kyrie/Hayward and Kyrie/Tatum (which may be out of my price range).

These checklists do crack me up, though. There are the occasional monsters (Dirk/Kidd/Terry/Chandler will be a HUGE card) and plenty of solid cards, but there are also so many obvious misses. It baffles me that Wiggins and Towns don't have an immaculate dual auto. I've been waiting to buy one for years. (Yes, I'm still a believer.)

I'm also interested to see how the new jerseys affect Immaculate, which is, besides the dual/triple/quad autos, largely a memorabilia-focused set. I thought the new design would kill NT RPAs, but I was wrong there. Hopefully, Immaculate survives as well (I have always liked it and was lucky enough to get a couple of FOTL boxes!)
