this is why i shy away from bidding on auctions listed by consignment companies.

How can they stop it? There is no way for a seller to stop a consignor from bidding.

I dont think anyone doubts that not only do they allow it, but it is actually part of their auction strategy.

You don't want to save $304.99? Plus it has a .5 extra grade on surface. hahahaha :)

That’s what I’m seeing, too.

Yeah but there are 5 days left is what OP means. People are dumb. Wonder what this auction ends at?

For sure.. I’m just talking sh**. Fortunately most of the stuff I buy isn’t shill worthy in the first place.

Same here. No one wants Falcons and Hawks.

Whats so tough to understand about on stuff like this most hihg end buyers would rather buy from pwcc pay more and not deal with some loser. This is pretty common with lots of high end buyers. That said you're out of your mind if you're paying that money for Tatum which is clearly a very manipulated card of a player who put up 13 points PPG.

Im actually thinking about sending the cards i want to sell to consignment companies so i don't have to deal with buyers remorse 6 months from now.

PWCC is the way to go. Never had a issue. There is a bit of a wait in the process if you're not the patient type.

All PWCC and Probstein auctions are 100% clean; I guarantee it. I've never had issues with either company. Not sure why people even start these threads.

I just did exactly that as a test case and as a seller, it was outstanding. My cards sold through them for more than they would’ve if I’d listed alone, there were no deadbeat buyers, zero issues, and all I did was collect my payment.

Why does the guy have to be a loser? Is the mentality of those paying thousands for cardboard that a guy who pulls a nice hit and lists it on eBay on his own is a loser?

I thought that post was a little brash as well. And me personally if i was paying that much money for a card of a young player (which i wouldn't) i'd rather have Tatum then some guys that sell for the same or more. Simmons? Yes he's good at what he does but he can't even make a 10 ft jump shot and got swept by the Celtics. Tatum led that playoff series in points. Yet Simmons has cards that are selling for double or triple this particular high end card.

Loser is honestly putting it friendly. When you've been buying large cards for a while you've seen everything and its 75-90% of the time a huge hassle and something goes wrong. Its not worth saving a few hundred bucks or in some cases with big RPA's thousands. I would much rather buy from PWCC.

Oh that’s right, I forgot everyone had extra thousands to spend just to ensure a buy goes smoothly. Come on guys what are you thinking paying less????!!!!

With how terrible paypal is, if you're spending 30-40-50k on a single card or spending 32-42-52k on a pwcc single card knowing you're getting exactly whats described and not a lose card in a bgs case or any other million things that could go wrong ya I would say its worth it. If youre buying a 100$ card and pwcc goes for 120 maybe its not worth it. But with rookie cards out of /99 you want it to be perfect and needs to be to justify the prices.
