Now that his auto’s have been popppng up seemingly everywhere/everyday. What are your thoughts?

Do you prefer his older auto’s more or less?

Do you have a preference/opinion good or bad on the new auto’s/products?

Aside from the newly listed/asking prices. Do you feel like the “sold” prices are justified and do prices just start going down from here on out?

All his prices go down new or old ones.

I still prefer the old Autographics over the new ones, but not at 4-digit prices.

I think within the next two years we are going to see Barkley on-card autos get regularly sold at the $150 range.

Up until now, there have been only a limited number of Barkley autos released per product, but the prices have already dropped to less than half of the initial prices when his first Panini autos were released. It is likely that with the release of Revolution, there will be for the first time Barkley Panini autos that are not serial numbered, breaking down further the perception of their scarcity. Buyer fatigue will then really set in after that, which would be the best time to get one.

I'd be comfortable saying $80

I think that range is possible in 5 to 10 years if he continually renews his deal with Panini and Panini remains the sole licensed manufacturer. Even Kobe hit that range, and Barkley is no Kobe.

I was never a fan of any of his previous autos, so I am enjoying seeing his autos in some of the nice new products. I am hoping they will drop a little so I can snag one.

I only ever liked him as a Sun so the older stuff didn't appeal too much. I'd like a Vanguard Cosmic but not at current prices.

He is no Jordan either, but you cannot compare prices. Barkley had ZERO autos in licensed products from 2000 to 2018 (and only 6 during his playing days), compared to hundreds for Kobe.

I like some of the new ones (2 of the 10 Panini Noir, the Immaculate). A lot of them are also just fillers. Panini just added a sticker on some cards just for the sake of having a couple extra cards on rainbows....

I'd say potentially less. $60 wouldn't surprise me at all. That's Magic Johnson territory.

Happy Suns & Sixers Autos are available finally. Unfortunately the signature in comparison to autographics become more sloppy. But Panini put out nice design on some of them.

I'm interested in obtaining a 99-00 or 97-98 autographics but the prices of those are a bit much. I know he was a great player but those prices are closer to a hobby superstar. I understand they are short printed but it's Charles Barkley. With Panini producing them, hopefully prices will come down to earth and I can get one.

A better question would be: how many autos per season should he have to keep the price steady?

If he signs, say, 3-400 autos for the next 5 years, it might still be over 100.
If he signs twice as much, it'll definitively go lower than that.

FWIW, Kobe was signing 1000+ autos in his last couple of seasons.

I am glad to see more of his autograph cards released. With that said, I still prefer his early Autographics cards, but might no longer be willing to pay the higher prices that they used to sell for.

Supply and demand, like others mentioned. Barkley is a unique case because he had no autos for the past 18 years or so. There are still a lot of people who would like his auto that don't have one yet. As he pumps out more and more, that demand will be satiated, and prices will plummet.

Prices will drop like a hooker's panties on xtasy.

I will say this...if Panini can get ahold of a GU jersey to cut up....whoa boy Flawless Patch autos
