I really used to like these, but it seems more n more that the interest n popularity isn’t there or like it was. I liked the championship letters set from a few years ago (Cavs/Warriors) and they appeared to sell for big bucks. Does anyone think that the letter/s from a player rc yr/season will hold or gain value? Are they just to gimmicky? Just wondering what others are thinking n feeling about them.

I feel like they will only hold value if you know where are they are from like the finals relics. I don’t think many people want player worn

I really liked it when they did game worn letters of some obscure players (as well as stars). I'm thinking Topps In the Name and the early Immaculate releases. Event worn rookie letters do nothing for me.

At the end of the day I just think it depends on who the player is... Lebrons are selling for like 1200 a piece... and I think big name players will always sell well... I'm sitting on 4 of them from Giannis... you gotta remember these are 1/1s
Sadly I think Panini killed the patch game.

I’d love to have E M B I I D spelled out, but not at the price that these cards command. I think they’re super cool but feel like I get more bang for my buck elsewhere. The cards themselves just aren’t that aesthetic to me to justify the coin.

Sadly I think Panini killed the patch game.
It got reincarnated in Opulence Booklets

I like them. For a PC collector, it's definitely a goal to get a complete name, but I also feel like some of the recent releases don't look as good as the past releases.

The GASOL looks dope. I agree... this year’s don’t really do it for me.

In general I really like them, and when people can complete a whole set it's quite an achievement.
However, the design can have a huge impact on the appeal, and there are so many player worn cards out there that takes away some appeal for rookies etc.
I've got two Drummonds. I like them a lot.
