2004 Upper Deck Flight Team RAINBOW odds(?)

I'm sure this has been covered in the past, but I couldn't find.
Does anyone know the odds for the RAINBOW version of the Flight Team? I think they were 1:1000 packs with a 50 card set.
So what does that make for the print run of them??? They seem to be one of the more short printed sets that didn't have serial numbers...

I don't have the odds directly in front of me while i am at work. I can pull them tonight when I get home. I believe the rainbow are something like 1:1056 odds or something like that. I did the print run analysis at one point going off of the printing plate odds to figure the total production and then did the math to figure the rainbow quantity from there. I am wanting to say it was something like 47 copies per player.

Keep in mind that there are the Onyx versions which are numbered to the players jersey number. In theory, the highest numbered cards are Maggette /50 and AK47 /47, and their Rainbow version might be more rare than the Onyx.

I used to have all of the numbers surrounding this set, i will see if I can dig them up. Coincidentally, I opened 2 cases about 2 years ago and pulled 0 Rainbows but did pull 2 Onyx cards(AK47 and Richard Hamilton /32).

That is correct. The Onyx looks identical except for the black background with the reflective surface. Tracy McGrady, Caron Butler, and Baron Davis are all 1/1's. There are a TON of guys who are under /5. I know one collector who has 2 of the 3 Marburys.

This really is a great set and a nice throwback to 90's style cards. You were right that they are 1:1000 packs even. I am trying to figure up the print run now of the Rainbows. I know I have a pic somewhere of the pack odds and can figure it pretty quickly based on the printing plate odds.
