ten really great shows. i hope everyone got to see them,what history. would have liked to see a little more from the invention, to the spread from ymca and military, to the early "cager years" before the "pro" leagues. also thought globe trotters and other exibition clubs got shorted.

I discovered a bunch of NBA 10-20 minute shorts thru On Demand (Xfinity service) when I typed in For the love of Basketball. Awesome footage and interviews.

it's funny, these seem right up my alley but for some reason, i just never felt like watching when i saw they were on. were they worth the time?

Just started them today after seeing this post. I like that they break up the episodes into small segments. Have watched most of episode 1 and it is excellent so far. The extra content on ESPN+ and ability to watch on demand makes it the easiest $4.99/mo. ever.

I have them in my dvr and plan on watching them soon. I mentioned the series to my father who grew up watching all of the greats from the 50's-70's and he loved it.
