This isn't a mail story, or a scam story... hell it isn't much of a story and if anything it's a "being a dope" story. But man am I sooooooped!
I got a package really early last season before we knew that Markelle Fultz was either seriously injured or dealing with major mental blocks. It was one of the 1/1 College Contenders Autos and I paid 4 figures for it. I just really thought it was a cool card with the purple on purple and wanted one of his best early cards so I pulled the trigger, never thought twice.
Flash forward. I was moving stuff around and transferring some old cards from my office to my place and I looked for it one day... nothing. Must've fell in the closet I keep my cards... checked the floor... checked the closet... scanner... couch... office...glove compartment... did I really just lose a card? And of all the cards it has to be a high end rookie auto 1/1!???:doh::doh:
Today the Internet goes down at work and I start cleaning this one drawer when I come across a thin bubble mailer tucked in with old important records...
BANG, there it is!!! In the bubble mailer with painter's tape on top!:cry::cry::santa::santa::santa::D:D:D:devil:
So happy. I have not seen this card in well over a year! Nobody in my life would care about this story, lol, so had to share with the BO community!

I lost a Vlad Jr blue auto last year. It has never left my house and it just baffles me where it went. I hope I find it!

Always nice finding cards like that. We were cleaning out our desk drawer at home this evening and found a COMC envelope (unopened) from 2014. It had a $3 PC Card, but still a card we wanted

You’re honestly buying too many cards if you lose track of a 1/1 auto of the No. 1 Pick. Granted all his cards will be in bargain bins in a couple years but you didn’t know that at the time. Too bad you couldn’t have sold it before word got out that he was longer capable of shooting a basketball.

Pretty awesome story. Typically when I think I've lost something it's because I sold/traded it and don't remember that. Actually had something similar happen earlier this week with a card I sold on eBay. Searched through every spot I could think where the card would normally be and still couldn't find it. I had just about given up and refunded the buyer's money but then looked in one last spot and thankfully that's where the card was located.
