What is best and cheapest way to submit to PSA? I’m going to put them directly into card savers. No penny sleeve?

You can use penny sleeeves in card savers. I highly suggest it.

Cheapest and best way is to use Jewcer in the breaks section

And one last thing. Is there a video showing best way to handle cards and load them into penny sleeve and card saver? I always feel like I’m doing it wrong...

I mean, what are you looking to do with the cards if you bust them? Resell them?

If you are looking at strictly resell to make a profit/get back most of your money, build up sets to sell. Hope you hit a good SSP and auto/parallels.

Second box in. Pulled an Acuna reverence autographed patch card /10.
How do I even store this card - so thick? Should I get it slabbed?

Great hit! You can get super thick card sleeves and toploaders. I would bite the biller and order them. For a card that nice it’s worth the cost.

As far as grading goes, check the corners very carefully. Those thick cards come out of packs dinged regularly

Just picked one up.

So undecided about what to do? Save it closed? Open everything and send in the hits? What do I do with all the base commons??

Any advice?

How can anyone sit on a case? Definition of torture.

Open it of course.

I got 180 pt magnet holder.
Is that the right size? I measured it vs some base cards and it looked right.

I haven't seen the card but I find the most common size for patch auto cards is 130pt.

Someone else pulled that Acuna patch auto card, maybe find it and shoot them a message

Got one more hit.
Gleyber Torres /25 Salute Auto.

Overall, probably broke even on the box. Now have to figure out what to do with all these cards :)

I got 2 autos of Milas Mikolas... how is that possible.

With those 2 big hits you better be profitable. The money in flagship is in the base.

Updated with everything but 2 big hits that I'm keeping.

Only (small...) thing left is to go through all the base cards.

I’m sure they’re patiently waiting in the giant pile of base cards that stills needs to be sorted.

Kind of annoyed that I didn’t finish out the IA set, but should be easy to fill the holes.

PM if interested in anything.

You didn't get lucky on the low numbered parallels from what I looked up, but a couple of golds and foil are decent. The vintage stock Ohtani is actually a really solid card.

You should easily be profitable when you finish up and start selling the sets and parallels.

I think so.

This is the first time I ever did anything like this and it’s a good learning experience. I still prefer it to buying individual boxes throughout the season.

The one thing I’ll say is. I definitely underestimated the work involved in sorting. Wow.

So in order to post this in the B/S/T section, I need to put a price on either the entire lot and/or the individual pieces?

You are correct. This is exactly why I sort one box at a time as I open it.

When I opened my case, I did this and found it to go a lot smoother. At least sort it in numerically by 100's so all the 1-99 cards in one pile, 100-199 in another, and 200-300 in another(obviously I put the Soto's sleeved in toploaders).

If you just stockpile the cards and wait to sort at the end, I'm sorry for you because that's torture lol.

Also, you need to put prices on items in the B/S/T thread on the entire lot, and I would do individual prices as well.

Thanks for you help.
I did have the sense to put all the Soto, Ohtani, Torres, Acuna right into semi-rigid.

Will price tonight.

as others noted, it's probably 130pt (that is what I have in other patch cards)... I don't use mag cases, so for top loaders if you penny sleeve them first (need "thick card sleeves") you will need the 180pt size top loader to make them fit - they are a little loose, so I recommend putting a bit if painters tape to squeeze the top and keep them secure (painters tape so its easy to remove when needed)

It can be hard to resist the urge to just keep ripping packs, but it's also nice because the case can last longer, providing more entertainment, and in the end, the sorting is already done and you have a sense of exactly what the case produced.:)!
