2012-2014 Topps Bloodlines boxes seem to be relatively hard to come by. Do any of you know the story behind these? Was it just a limited production? I'm always looking for boxes of 2013, but they rarely come up for sale. 2014 are definitely the most plentiful. If anybody can share any insight into these, I would appreciate it.

People bought them up looking for Conor Rookies.... Same with 2012 Finest and Ronda rookies.

Would you assume most have been opened?

I would think a huge number of them have. I recall it being the card at the peak of his run.

I bought, and bought, and bought when it came out, and for about two years after. Stuff was the best UFC product I've opened. Some cases had multiple 1/1's, books, etc. Only pulled 1 McGregor every other case randomly. I don't believe they were SP'd either, to my knowledge.
Of course sold them for $45 and was happy about it...at that time.

They were actually heavily discounted for a while. I'm guessing that's when alot got opened. The Mcgregor wasn't a tough pull, but the product seemed mostly gone before he blew up.

I appreciate all of the insight. I would have to assume this product had a relatively low production number, if it's already hard to come by. Unless someone is sitting on a hoard of it. None of the major unopened retailers have any 2012 or 2013 in stock, and 2014 is in short supply.
I've been a UFC fan for a long time, but only began picking up the cards over the past few years. Unfortunately, I got in too late on this product, it seems.

Yeah most Bloodlines and KO were limited in production compared to other sets. But are you looking to buy older boxes to look for certain cards? Almost every major 1/1 has been pulled. The only 1/1 I haven't seen is Jon Jones rd 2 1/1. But Conor's 1/1 auto was pulled so were all 8 of the rubies

I was just hoping to add some to my unopened collection. I've only busted a few mini boxes of 2012 (pulled a Rhonda /50, though). I like the product a lot, and the fact that the boxes seem to be very limited, just intrigues me more.
