New league year starts today so figured it was time for a new thread.

After last year's HUGE step forward in offensive production, hoping the the defense can be the one to make some huge strides. Thinking the offense can continue to perform at the level they did would be silly, but if they do regress.....hopefully we have any (literally any) defense that can hold teams when needed.

Definitely a few tough losses over the last few days (Morse, Ford & Houston), but potentially more to come - EB???????

Obviously with MVP Mahomes leading the ship there are a ton of high expectations.

Hopefully this year's thread will have a bit more dialogue than last years.

Still hoping we get David Montgomery in draft at RB after we get some defensive pieces.

Not a chiefs fan, but eric berry is my favorite player. Hope he can stay healthy, because then he´s one of the best if not the best safety.
Chiefs are fun to watch no doubt.

LOTS of holding penalties....but last year's defense wasn't good so maybe he had to hold all the time.

The hype for this upcoming season is the biggest I've ever seen. We all know why but this is just crazy. Training camp turnouts of over 8,500? Absurd! I can remember before Mahomes that weekend crowds maybe got up to 2,500. And then I heard on the radio today that the attendance for Saturday's game was 69,000! I'm ready to get this season started already. I know everyone outside of Chiefs Kingdom expects Mahomes to regress a little but I honestly don't see it. I think he'll go over 5,000 again, TDs will come down a lil but not much. LETS GOOOO

It will be interesting to see how McCoy and Williams run the ball. I think McCoy has plenty left in the tank after trying to run behind a terrible O-Line in Buffalo. He knows the offense that Reid likes, so he should be ready to go.
