View Full Version : I am the worst grading submitter EVER!

So I had every Mahomes Optic non-auto in PSA 10 except the Green and Gold. I finally found a raw green /5 on here and bought it.
I got it ready to send in and checked the PSA pop reports:

Non-auto base sent in - 868
PSA 10's - 759 (87.5%)
PSA 9's - 106 (12%)
PSA 8's - 3 (0.5%)

Ok - I like those odds. Sent it in and held my breath.
Got it back today and almost threw it. Not going to stay in that holder for sure. So now it's either keep it raw or off to BGS (even though they can't get my cards in the right holders). Barf

I suck. I guess if I was a half full guy I could say I have the highest one graded since it's the only one graded...

Since BGS can't get my cards in the right holders and I'll have to send them back, I'll probably go that route. I'm sure by then it will be a BGS 7.

At least it's not all bad. The four 9.5/10's from BGS for the Mahomes were nice. Probably gonna hold on to that National Treasures for a while. This one really surprised me though.

Fingerprints?

Prepped surface well before submitting? Unfortunately that's the thing with PSA...you never really know where the card fails.

You really think so? The majority of those are Optic and Holo. I doubt that many people set minimums but maybe they did.

What service/timeline do you usually use - non-guaranteed (or is that just BGS)?

Probably missed a surface imprint somewhere. Maybe the back. Can be difficult to see.
