As a knick fan I liked Chandler a lot, and Randolph had a lot of potential... but we still hold a good majority of our bench, so I'd be happy with it

AR can go,he's never going to fit in NY,at least from what we've seen so far. I like Chandler, but if it gets us Melo and brings a NBA playoff game back to MSG,then he's gotta go for the greater good

Wasn't it originally Fields, Chandler or Gallinari, and a 1st to the Nuggets for Melo and the Nuggets didn't want that?? Now its a worse package??

Yep,it was all that and Denver said no. I think with the story coming out the Melo will only sign an extension in NY, the Knicks have Denver basically bent over to take what they'll give,or get nothing after the deadline & still lose him

Too good to believe as a Knicks fan, get a Superstar for one starter, one guy barely playing, and an expiring contract?

As a Wolves fan, I personally do not like the deal. Your giving up a good defensive and pretty decent offensive player, in Brewer, and a 1st round pick for an over the top contract in Curry, and a pretty decent player in Randolph. I'd prefer if they just kept Brewer and the 1st rounder. You could possibly get someone better with that pick anyways! I am just hoping this trade falls through.

Well, this is what Denver gets for being greedy. Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer. Congratulations.....

Exactly right. They thought they'd get blown away with offers as it gets closer, and it really looks like outside of maybe Dallas renting him,no one else is going to make a play

As a Knicks fan, I hate to see Chandler go as he has played damn well this year finally. Randolph doesn't fit in because no one can really play behind Amare. I would love Melo coming over though, we def need another superstar. Don't like the fact that Billups would be staying in Denver, want him out so my boy Ty starts.

Denver is getting garbage for Melo if they follow through with this trade....Thats what they get for not taking the great deal NJ was offering them....This trade is gonna set there franchise back a few years thats for damn sure....They are getting nothing to build with....what a joke!

This better not be the Wolves own pick they're giving up, giving up a top 5 pick and Brewer for Randolph and a contract isn't a good deal

No guys the first proposed deal was Fields, 1st round, Chandler, Curry, 2nd round...and they were thinking about adding Randolph.

Why would the Wolves want an expiring contract? That just means they'd have to lure someone to come play here once Curry is off the books. And we don't need another SF/PF in Randolph. Why trade for him when he'll probably be a free agent after his contract is up anyway.

If Denver was smart, they would just accept the deal rather than getting nothing this summer.

They have more than 1 first rounder again this year :)!

dont seethis happening. I think Denver isnt going to get anything in the end. Melo will be a free agent next year and he'll go cheap to NYK
