I FINALLY got one: Mitch Richmond 1/1!

So as many of you know I collect mainly 90s Mitch Richmond stuff, but I go for an occasional auto or patch if I like the look.

Over the years I've bid a pretty consistent number on nice-looking 1/1s of Mitch and more often than not I get outbid by only a single bidder. It was very frustrating and I figured I'd just never win one...TIL NOW!

Actually snagged this for about $15 under my typical max bid. Very nice in person, on-card 1/1 auto. What more do you want??

Nicely done! I did like the set when it came out. Thought about getting a /25 or /10 version but this one came up and I knew I was going to bid on it. Still moderately surprised I got it!

Do you feel rainbow fever coming on? I'm not familiar with this set, but seeing Lucky's share, I see that there is enough color difference between the versions to make it worth some effort (in my opinion) to go after the others.

@mondo NICE, we've got 1/1 twins! It really is a great-looking card in hand, and now I don't have to chase any more modern 1/1s I just wanted one! Might actually let go of one or two of my modern autos to help offset the cost actually haha.

Thanks again everyone I appreciate the love! I'll update my rolling Mitch thread with it too, and a nice /100 pickup from his playing days :)!

And in regards to going for the rainbow now that I have the 1/1 I honestly considered it pretty strongly, but then I realized I'd never top his 97-98 Bowman's Best rainbow, of which I'm fortunate to have all six: base, refractor, atomic refractor, auto, refractor auto, atomic refractor auto. That is THE ultimate Mitch rainbow in my mind so I'll probably just let the modern rainbow go haha.
