I have done extensive research in this are across MLB, NBA, NFL and it looks like a PSA 9/BGS 9 provides double the ROI over the long term as a PSA 10/BGS 9.5 for cards that are not 1K plus. Has anyone else come to this conclusion or have differing results?

I’d be interested in seeing more details on your research, but I could see why that would make sense. BGS 9’s are usually at a discount compared to a 9.5 let alone a PSA 10 which are purchased at premiums.

Need to see the data. But yes that wouldn't surprise me. I don't know about double but a better percentage sure i can see that. PSA 10 is going to be high to begin with and less of them sold later on down the line so there may not be as much data. All depends on the card really.

The market is always going to be bigger for less expensive cards.

Definitely logical.

I just posted PSA/BGS 9's are probably the best deals on the market imo. Grading is just becoming more and more of a scam/money grab with highly subjective grades that can change daily. To pay crazy premiums for 9.5/10's isn't for me.

What's the temporal range? What era(s) of cards are you looking at? What players?

We need to see the deets, sir.
