Not a fan of the modern basketball scene. I’m stuck in the 80s and 90s. Love Shaq, Jordan, Spud, Bogues, Bird, Magic, Sir Charles etc... are there any products that focus on these 80s-90s guys? Do I need to just go back to 90s UD products?

Note: I love the NBA without LeBron.

most modern products have a mixture of retired guys but there aren't any products that focus on them. 90s stuff has skyrocketed but that's still your best bet :)!

Probably just stick with singles.

Always thought that 1987 Fleer Jordan is a great affordable card.

I bought a box of 87 Fleer last year and somehow got 6 Jordan cards. Centering wasn’t great on any of them but they still looked nice with great edges and corners.

There are a lot of modern cards of those guys that look great. But I'm not sure we could say there's a product that has focused on them.

Flawless, Immac, Nat Treasures, basically everything has those guys. Plenty of nice stuff, but very hard to grab it all because Panini has kept the presses rolling.

Enjoy

If you're looking for 80s I agree Star is the way to go as opposed to the overproduced Fleer stuff

However 90s is a completely different beast.

90s stuff is selling very high right now and I do not see this changing anytime soon. There is wayyyyy more to collect out of the 90s and certainly wont be cheap. However 90s cards represent the greatest decade of innovative card design. 90s cards are without question the finest looking cards ever created especially the stuff from 96-97 and 97-98

But all things considered I would pick up as many 80s Star as you can right now. 80s Star stuff is still relatively affordable and still have plenty of upside long term, where as 90s will be very expensive getting into at this point in time

Wow - that's a serious product to bust. I opened a pack recently and pulled MJ BIRD and Magic in the same pack.
