He the leads the Steelers in basically every receiving category, passing two HOF'ers along the way. He's a super bowl mvp, and is well known for all he does in the game that isn't on the stat sheet. He's passed Swann and Stallworth (both in the HOF) in all categories for Steelers WR, has 2 Super Bowl rings and a Super Bowl MVP. Sorry to dash your hopes but Hines Ward is going to be in the Hall of Fame. We won't have to worry about this for 7 more years because Hines is playing at least two more.

He won't. Ward is not an "elite" WR in his time. Players 30 years ago can't be compared, it's all about being the best of the best during your era.

I think Hines, as much as I hate him, will be in one day possibly very far down the road. There is just so many WR's that are ahead of him. If he doesn't make I'm fine with that, won't break my heart any.
