Hey. Quick question. Just wondering. I have done sketch cards in the past and out of like maybe 50 cards, I only old 5. I dont think Im selling them too high, but im surprised I ever get any takers. My question though is, I see some artists create their own cards. Cards with their name and designs and info on the back. I was going to make some, mostly cause I havent gotten any set offers in a while. I was wondering, do people collect personal sketch cards by artists? Artist that are not huge names in the industry? Cause I figured If I made a cool card, I would try seeing for $25-30 or so, just to get get some extra money and cause I enjoy drawings. I just have not fared well with selling my cards from the card companies so I dont know if im wasting my time making my own cards to draw on.

mind posting some examples of your work and what sets you have available? I'm curious.

I can post my art, but I was more curious about seeing if anyone collects sketch cards that are not from sets and art from the artist themselves. I didnt really want answers based on my art, just the question. If thasts ok.

I have a few PSC/ACEOs, but they are of a very specific subject matter. Normally I wouldn't care for any PSC/ACEOs, but in chasing this subject matter, I stumbled into one on eBay, and the others came to me without prior knowledge I'd be getting them.

My eBay card was purchased from the artist herself and the other two were included as part of purchases from those individuals.

Your potential range is what my Bianca card cost me if that means anything.

I've purchased quite a few PSC's mainly of characters that aren't too common in official releases. The price range I've paid is typically round 15-50 bucks each each. I do tend to keep them separate from my officially licensed sketches and resale on them isn't the greatest but imo the artwork and cheaper cost make these things great PC items and I appreciate that some artists still take the time to offer the service.
