View Full Version : eBay's "Suspicious buyer for item" emails

I get these every few months, usually after 3 or 4 days of the completed transaction. So far has only been on low dollar items and I have a 4 day handling window so sometimes I get it before I ship the item. But for any top rated sellers who are supposed to ship within 24 hours, this seems like a dangerous situation. The buyer is no longer a registered user, his payment is still in my Paypal account, the comic is already in his hands... does anyone have similar issues?
Thanks in advance!

It happened to me but the buyer got the items and left positive feedback. I contacted ebay about it and they said it was a glitch on this buyer. That is my experience with the message.

Usually when you get those the item is removed and fees are credited to your account and feedback cannot be removed. I have gotten them on items that were over a month old. Item was shipped delivered and feedback left then they send that. Loved getting the fees refunded at that point.
If they have paid and you have not shipped just refund them. They cannot leave a neg if they are not registered. If you have shipped just hope you have everything like DC and all that to prove your case should something happen. Have never had an issue with one but it could happen.
