View Full Version : Watchcount eBay best offer accepted site no longer working

Hello everyone.

For quite a while now I have been using watchcount.com offer history search tool to look up the best offer accepted for items. Unfortunately it no longer shows the price of offers made and accepted.

Does anyone have another tool that can reveal the price of offers made and accepted?

Use the Go Advanced feature to edit the title.

Why do people not use sortsof?

Freaking rookies on this site these days

I use this extension in Chrome:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ebay-best-offer-accepted/mddafhhmkeabekfjmijhjhbffklegfjo?hl=en

It will then show a "Find accepted price" button to click when you search sold listings/best offer.

Check completed listings, sort by price. look for the closest auction prices and the sold price is somewhere between the two.

Watchcount is still working for me. The problem with it now is it doesn't show past offers, just the one that was accepted.

The PWCC Market Price Research search tool has the correct Best Offer accepted price listed as the sales price. It’s great. That’s one of the things I hate about WorthPoint; all of their Best Offer sales prices are wrong (has the listed price).

Any sites/tools that show the non-winning offers? Haven't seen those on watchcount in like a year.

Yea, worthpoint is garbage for non-auction items when it comes to final prices. Very helpful hunting ground for trimmed/altered cards.

this one is nice, thanks! I knew about sortsof but I liked watchcount better and it'd also stopped working for me recently.

It's an issue from eBay. They are limiting all people to 5000 completed auction search requests per day.

So it seems like all of the ones mentioned here are no longer working... anybody have any alternatives??

It’s not showing accepted Best Offer prices. It shows the original asking price, even if a lower price was accepted. None of the items with an accepted Best offer since last Wed/Thur or so are showing on any site.

Ebay must've closed the loophole sadly, hope somebody out there can get this working again.

What's their incentive to do this? Do they think we'll all be fulled into thinking everything sells at full price-> higher sales -> more ebay fees???

Basically think people pay more for something which means more money in their pockets...

so now that this is confirmed, so for everyone saying it works, it does work.... however it's not showing the actual lower price accepted, it's showing just the asking price as being completed. Anyone actually have an alternative????

I do not. And agree with what you said.

I will also add that you use to be able to go to sold listings and put them in order from highest to lowest and figure out a range of what the item sold for. That doesn't seem to work anymore though as the cards now seem to be sorted by BIN price rather than actual price :(

The only sales data that I have been able to find is on those cards that I made an offer on.... I'm still getting emails from ebay indicating how much cards sold for that I made offers on.

From another thread

I've always done it this way:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=

Add the item number after the equals sign. Make sure you're signed in. Not the best way on mobile, but it works fine on desktop.

Thanks for that! I just tried it and it works. Hopefully watchcount will redo their site and get things working again, but until then this is a great workaround. :)!

I saw that this solution has been implemented on https://sales.130point.com and it works on mobile as well. Only trick is you have to enable desktop mode in your mobile browser. You just turn on desktop mode when ebay gives you the mobile error page. There's links showing how to do that on iPhone and Android in the transition when you select the 'View Best Offer Accepted' link.

Can anyone tell me how much the 3 cards from this eBay listing sold for?

None of the links above worked for me :(

Seems like it won't work b/c there are 3 sold under the one item number.

EBAY should show all final sales prices and also should change a sale to unsold if the item is returned to the seller.

Thanks man. I just tested and other than having to login to eBay twice, it worked. I’m glad there are some alternatives now!
